If you are planning to stay or visit the Perigord and in particular Daglan, do not forgot to drop into the new Pottery Boutique, which is to be found on the Rue de la Republique in the Ancien Presbytere.
Here in the Ancient Presbytere you will be given a friendly welcome and the opportunity to admire, and perhaps, buy the various creations on display.

From their own designs they create a limited series of pieces made from either sandstone, rake or porcelain.

My favourite are the gorgeous blue pots above.

I particularly like unusual designs, so all the pots from top to bottom look amazing.
All of the pieces are worked by hand, creating unique pieces by an experienced potter.

During the Summer months they hold pottery classes for children and adults. You could join the wheel throwing pottery class to make your own vase, planter, cup or bowl etc.

Through the Autumn and Winter months they will be creating new designs to make for next Summer. However, the Boutique will be open during these months and they are going to bring out a limited Christmas selection which will be brilliant for presents or to keep for one self.

Event this month is the October Rose for cancer, which is supported by Daglan and the many villages, towns and cities throughout France.
