Va Va Voom.

For elegance, craftsmanship and sheer pleasure you can not beat a classic car. The purring of the engine and the smell of wood and leather all combine to the uniqueness of these cars.

As you can by now understand I love old cars, classic, veteran and vintage and to have a classic car show just across the road from your home, wow, it made my year.

They arrived in ones and twos, with only a few cars at first.

Then by late afternoon, oh my, what a wonderful display.

Magnificent Jaguar XK 140.

Extremely difficult to say which one was my favourite.

Citroen Traction Avanti

Gorgeous Singer made in 1950 and still a winner. For sale if you are interested. Oops sorry Elaine, it should read Singer Car but you are a gorgeous singer.

Just slightly bias, to me this was the best car of the Daglan Show, A Beetle Convertible.

An extremely well restored Triumph Spitfire 1500.

This stunning Mercedes SL280 also caught my eye.

“Come back next year guys”, I could have spent hours just looking at each individual car, just brilliant.
